‘Our sessions will be different, as our usual base is being used as a Vaccination Centre. Weather permitting, we will be operating a Play N Stay Forest School in St. Edward’s Vicarage Garden including our usual play activities, as well as planning bug hotels, spotting insects, planting seedlings and having some fun in the open. Refreshments will be available for all the children as well as parents and carers.
Play N Stay – As Covid-19 restrictions slowly ease, we are now able to plan the reopening of some of our popular activities as well as some new ones.
#Kidspace – We are planning some open air events for young people in School Years 6 – 8. We have kept in touch with many of our young people during lockdown and they are raring to get back to their club and we have already had interest from new young people who are also keen to join us.
Mini-Ed’s – We are now looking for young people to join us and help plan our Mini-Ed’s sessions. While restrictions last, we will be looking at open-air events. If you are in school years 4 – 6 and would like to be involved, please contact us.
Youth Café – We run sessions for young people from Year 9 and above. Our youth workers, through outreach, will be engaging with young people offering support with employability and life skills training. As well as having the opportunity to meet and make friends, young people will also have a say in what they would like to see happening at this session.
Counselling – The counselling experience isn’t just for difficulties or anxieties thrown up by the pandemic. We all experience stressful times in our lives and struggle to cope or just want someone to talk to in a non- judgemental way. Our counselling service provides a safe space to talk through issues in a confidential person centred way that is relevant to you.
